Terms of Use
Last updated: November 1, 2026
1. What these terms cover
These terms apply to your use of Klaktik, an online service that helps turn an idea into a short-video script. Klaktik is operated by Sylvain Tremblay, founder, in Montreal, Quebec.
By creating an account or using the service, you confirm that you have read these terms and accept them. If you do not agree, do not use Klaktik. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your personal information; it is part of these terms.
2. The service
Klaktik uses artificial intelligence to write scripts from what you provide: a description, a transcript, your persona, your niche and your platform.
- Scripts are suggestions. They may contain errors, awkward wording or similarities to other content. Read them before you use them.
- We do not guarantee any result: not views, followers or sales.
- The service evolves. We may add, change or remove features, and we will tell you when a change is significant.
3. Your account
- Age: you must be 14 or older. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to buy a plan or credits.
- Accuracy: the information you give when you sign up must be accurate and up to date.
- Security: keep your password confidential. You are responsible for what happens under your account. If you think someone is accessing it without permission, write to us right away.
- One account per person: creating several accounts to get around the service's limits, free credits or referral credits is not allowed.
4. What you may and may not do
You may use Klaktik to create scripts for your own videos or, if you work for a client, for theirs.
You must not:
- use the service to produce content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, misleading or that infringes someone's rights;
- paste into the generator content you have no right to use, or try to have someone else's work reproduced;
- get around the service's limits, security or controls (rate limits, anti-bot checks, credits);
- use bots, scripts or other automated means to access the service or to extract data from it in bulk;
- resell the service or give other people access to your account;
- harm the operation of the service or other users, or introduce malicious code;
- pretend to be someone else.
5. Your content and your scripts
- Your content is yours. The text you provide, your personas and the scripts produced for you belong to you. You may use them, edit them and publish them, including for commercial purposes, subject to these terms and third-party rights.
- What you allow us to do. You authorize us to use your content only to run the service for you: store it, send it to our providers to write the scripts, and display it in your account. We do not use it to train our own models.
- Your responsibilities. You confirm that you have the right to use the content you provide. You are responsible for what you publish with our scripts, including following the rules of platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.
- Inspirations. When you draw inspiration from a video, we take its style (hook, structure, tone, pace), not its content. Do not try to copy other people's work.
6. Credits, plans and payments
- Credits. Each generation uses credits, at the rate shown in the application. The synthesis of an inspiration is free; the script costs the credits shown before you confirm. If a generation fails, the credit is automatically refunded to you.
- Included credits and top-up credits. The credits included in your plan are renewed each period and do not add up from one period to the next. Top-up credits are separate: they are not reset when your plan renews.
- Plans. Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically, monthly or yearly depending on your choice, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid.
- Free trial. When a trial is offered, its content and length are shown before you start. At the end of the trial, the paid subscription begins unless you cancel before then.
- Prices and taxes. Prices are in Canadian dollars. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout. We may change our prices; the new price applies only to your next period, after at least 30 days' notice.
- Payment. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or keep your card number.
- Refunds. Except where the law guarantees otherwise, amounts already paid for a period, or for top-up credits already used, are not refundable. If you think there is a billing error, write to us at info@klaktik.com: we will fix it.
7. Suspension and closure
- By you. You can close your account at any time by writing to info@klaktik.com. Your information is then handled as the privacy policy explains.
- By us. We may suspend or close an account that does not follow these terms, that presents a risk of fraud or abuse, or that harms the service. When possible, we tell you first and explain why. If we close your account wrongly, we return your unused credits.
8. Klaktik's property
The service, its software, design, texts and brand belong to Klaktik or its licensors. These terms give you no right to them, other than the right to use the service as they provide.
9. Warranties and liability
- We offer the service as it is, with care, without promising that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free.
- To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages (lost profit, lost opportunities, loss of data) related to your use of the service or to the content you publish with our scripts.
- Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer, or removes liability that we cannot legally exclude.
- We rely on third-party providers (hosting, payment, artificial intelligence). We do not control their services and are not responsible for their outages.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms significantly, we will notify you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you keep using Klaktik after that date, you accept the new terms. Otherwise, you can close your account before then. The date of the latest update appears at the top of the page.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. A dispute is brought before the courts of the district of Montreal, without limiting the right the law gives you, as a consumer, to bring the matter before the court where you live.
